How to you deal with windows that aren't a good shape?
Most shutters are installed within window reveals and these apertures are very rarely plumb and square. Consequently once shutter is fitted the variance in the reveal become, very obvious. Issues with the reveals will be pointed out to the customer and is aware of them, along with the methods we will take, to try and cope with this such as concealing gaps with caulk and mouldings and filler strips.
Window sills that are not true will also need some form of compromise, so that shutters open but light ingress is minimized .We will discuss all of this with a customer to ensure full understanding before going ahead with any job.
